What Loopy Loyalty offers

On its pricing page, Loopy Loyalty lists three plans: Starter, Growth and Ultimate. Each includes unlimited customers, digital stamp cards, Apple Wallet and Google Wallet support. The plans differ by card designs (1, 3 and 10), locations (1, 3 and 10) and sub-users (3, 10 and 50). The comparison table also lists a visual card designer, remote stamping through a web stamper, location-based messages, real-time analytics, developer API access and data export. The page does not show which plan carries each feature, so check that before you decide.

It names cafes, restaurants, salons, health and wellness, pet care and fitness among its industries, and offers a 15-day trial. Its FAQ says it does not offer refunds for subscriptions or renewals.

MSTRMND vs Loopy Loyalty on price: how the two scale

Loopy Loyalty shows prices of $25, $69 and $95 a month, or $250, $690 and $950 a year, with the page saying annual billing saves 20 per cent. The page shows a dollar sign without naming the currency. MSTRMND’s plans are £31, £69 and £115 a month when billed annually, which is £372, £828 and £1,380 a year. We have not converted currencies, because exchange rates move and the plans are not like for like.

The useful comparison is not the headline number but what each tier includes. Loopy Loyalty’s middle plan covers 3 locations and 10 sub-users. MSTRMND’s Grow covers 5 locations and up to 5 managers. At the top, Loopy Loyalty offers 10 locations and 50 sub-users, and MSTRMND’s Business offers 10 locations and unlimited managers.

MSTRMND vs Loopy Loyalty: where Loopy Loyalty is the better choice

  • You want unlimited customers on every plan. MSTRMND’s Starter holds 100 clients and Grow holds 1,000, so a large list means Business.
  • You only need stamp cards. Loopy Loyalty is built around them, and a focused product can be simpler to run.
  • You want a free-to-try path. It lists a 15-day trial on each plan.
  • You value a lower entry price in dollars, if your budget and currency make that the deciding factor.

MSTRMND vs Loopy Loyalty: where MSTRMND is the better choice

  • You need more than stamps. MSTRMND offers eight card types: Stamp, Points, Cashback, Gift, Referral, Subscription, Multipass and Custom.
  • You want customer segments. Grow and Business sort customers into ten tiers from recency, frequency and spend.
  • You want WhatsApp notifications, from one number for loyalty messages, on Grow and Business.
  • You run Toast, or want API and webhooks. Toast integration and API access are on the Business plan.
  • You want UK pricing in pounds, with support on WhatsApp and priority support on Business.

Switching from Loopy Loyalty

Moving a wallet card programme is mostly a communication job. Customers hold a card from the old provider, and they will need to add the new one. Run both for a short period, put a QR code for the new card at the counter, and tell regulars what is changing and why. Do not remove the old card until customers have the new one, or you will lose the ones who did not notice.

Keep the reward rule the same during the move. Changing the reward and the provider at once makes it hard to tell which one moved behaviour.

Questions to ask each vendor before you sign

A fair MSTRMND vs Loopy Loyalty comparison ends with questions, not a verdict. Put these to each vendor in writing and keep the answers.

  • Which plan includes each feature on the comparison table? Loopy Loyalty’s page lists them without showing the plan.
  • How are sub-users counted, and can I add more without changing plan?
  • What happens to my customers’ cards if I cancel?
  • How does the 15-day trial work, and what counts as going live?
  • What is the position on refunds at renewal? Its FAQ says it does not offer them.

We will answer the same five for MSTRMND, using the plan limits on this page. A vendor that answers plainly is usually a vendor that supports plainly.

How to decide in ten minutes

  • Count your locations and your customers now, and in a year.
  • List the card types you want. If it is only stamps, either works.
  • List the channels you want: wallet, WhatsApp, SMS.
  • Note any tills or tools you need to connect.
  • Compare the total at the tier you would actually use.
