GloriaFood Loyalty Integration: Reward Online Food Orders on a Wallet Card
A GloriaFood loyalty integration sends each online food order to a wallet card, so a takeaway order earns the same stamps or points as a meal at a table. MSTRMND connects through webhooks and the API on the Business plan. This page covers how the link works, and where it stops.
Via API and webhooks, Business plan
Connect GloriaFood to a wallet card
- Set up an endpoint
- Add the custom integration
- Call the card API
- Test a cancelled order
Offer the card on the order confirmation.
What does a GloriaFood loyalty integration do?
GloriaFood takes online orders for restaurants and takeaways. Those customers often never appear at the till, which means a loyalty card that only counts in-person visits misses a big part of their spend. A link between the ordering system and the card puts both on one card.
MSTRMND does not publish a GloriaFood app. GloriaFood can send each order to an endpoint you provide, and that endpoint can call the MSTRMND API, which the Business plan includes. New to wallet cards? Start with our guide to digital loyalty cards.
How an order reaches the card
GloriaFood lets you add a custom integration to your restaurant: you give it an endpoint address, and it sends order details there. Something at that address, a no-code tool or a small script, receives the order and calls MSTRMND.
- Receive the order, with the customer’s phone or email and the total.
- Find or create the customer and issue a card if they have none.
- Add a stamp or the order amount to the card.
- Send a push notification when the order earns a reward.
A tool such as Zapier or Make can sit at the endpoint, so the build needs no custom code.
Four GloriaFood order events and the card action each one drives
Each row is one rule at the endpoint that receives orders.
| Order event | Sent to MSTRMND | Card action | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Order accepted | Phone and total | Add a stamp or points | Online takeaway |
| First order | Phone | Issue a wallet card | New customers |
| Order cancelled | Phone and total | Subtract the reward | Honest balances |
| Quiet weekday | Phone | Send a push notification | Filling slow nights |
Matching a takeaway customer to a diner
A customer who orders online and later eats in should end up on one card. That depends on a shared key. Online orders nearly always collect a phone number. At the table, you may not ask for one, so make the first card sign-up capture it.
A simple route is to offer the card on the order confirmation: a message with a link to add it to the phone wallet. The customer joins in the moment they have just spent money, which is when they are most likely to say yes.
Rules that suit takeaway
A stamp per order
One stamp for each completed online order, with a free item on the tenth. Easy to explain on the menu page.
Points on the basket value
A points card turns the order total into points, so a family order earns more than a single coffee.
A bonus for ordering direct
If you also list on delivery apps, a bonus for direct orders gives customers a reason to use your own page, which keeps the customer relationship with you.
A quiet-night offer
A push notification on a slow weekday, to customers who ordered before, brings orders back when the kitchen is idle.
API access by plan
The endpoint needs the API, so it needs the Business plan.

What you need before you start
- The Business plan, which includes API and webhooks.
- A GloriaFood account with the ordering page live, and access to its integration settings.
- An endpoint to receive orders, with the keys GloriaFood generates stored safely.
- The API credentials from your MSTRMND account.
- A matching key: the phone number collected on the order.
Where it stops
GloriaFood’s integration is aimed at restaurants taking online orders, so it covers those orders only. Table sales still need the Scanner App or another link at the till. A cancelled or refunded order should reverse its reward, and that path needs building and testing. And orders that arrive without a phone number cannot be matched, so check how often that happens.
A first-week plan for a GloriaFood loyalty integration
Get one order through to a card before you promote it.
- Day one: decide what an online order earns and write it in one sentence.
- Day two: set up the endpoint and store the keys GloriaFood generates safely.
- Day three: add the custom integration and send a test order to the endpoint.
- Day four: connect the endpoint to the card API, and add the cancelled-order path.
- Day five: place a real order, check the card, then add the card link to the order confirmation.
Tell your staff what the card does. A customer who rings to ask about their stamps should get an answer from whoever picks up.
Questions to ask before you promote it
Online orders have their own edge cases.
- What if an order has no phone number?
- What if a customer orders for a group, using a friend’s phone?
- Does a delivery fee count towards the reward?
- Who is told when the endpoint fails?
The answers belong on one page that the whole team can read, so nobody improvises at the counter.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a GloriaFood app for MSTRMND?
No app is published. GloriaFood can send orders to an endpoint you provide, and that endpoint calls the MSTRMND API, which the Business plan includes. A no-code tool at the endpoint means the link can be built without writing code.
Do table sales count too?
Not through this link. It covers orders placed through GloriaFood. Sales at a table or counter earn through the Scanner App, which works on every plan, or through another link at your till. Using one matching key means both routes add to the same card.
How do customers get the card?
The easiest way is the order confirmation: add a message with a link to the card, so the customer joins just after they have paid. That is when a customer is most willing to say yes, and it works without anyone at the venue asking.
What does it cost?
MSTRMND’s side is the Business plan, £115 a month billed annually, which includes API and webhooks. GloriaFood and any automation tool at the endpoint have their own pricing, so check both against the number of online orders you take in a normal week.
